It all started in 1976 when brothers Elie and Jamil Cheaib arrived in Montreal with their friend Georges Ghrayeb coming from Lebanon, where the Cheaib family used to own a business and operate a farm of fruits and vegetables in their small village of Damour, which is about twenty kilometers from Beirut. More than nine children in the family were working hard before the civil war pushes the family to find a new place of peace. They chose Canada as their new country where a new story begins.
